Cindy Rubin

Dr. Rubin is a Pediatrician and Breastfeeding Medicine Physician in Chicago, IL. She worked for 13 years at an academic center until realizing the need to buck “the system” to practice medicine in a way that felt right to her. In 2021, she opened a Direct Primary/Specialty Care practice. At In Touch Pediatrics and Lactation, she provides her patients with the time they deserve by offering home visits for general pediatrics and breastfeeding medicine outside Chicago.

Dr. Rubin enjoys being part of the lactation community in her area and collaborating with other lactation professionals to provide the full spectrum of care that breastfeeding dyads deserve. She serves as Co-Chair of The Committee on Breastfeeding for the Illinois Chapter of the AAP and continues to dedicate her time to teaching Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine to the next generation of medical learners. She is honored to be part of NABBLM as it works to give Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine the respect and attention it deserves in the medical field.
